MARCH 28, 2008 DONNERKEIL X SPS MON AMOUR FILLY SOLD! Bridlewood Farm congratulates USDF dressage competitor May McCaleb, Starlight Farm, Xenia, Ohio on her purchase of this elegant filly! May successfully competes with another Donnerkeil offspring, Dulcinea B (Donnerkeil/Gabrielle B/Guarantor). In Florida last month, Dulcinea B won 3 out of 4 classes she entered and is now already qualified for Rgion 2 Championships for 2008! FABRIANNA B BY FABULEUX NAMED AHS CHAMPION! Fabrianna B (Fabuleux x Gabrielle B/Guarantor) has been named the AHS Young Horse Filly Division Two and Three-Year-Olds Champion with a remarkable score of 80.60%! Congratulations to owner, Maggie Stonecipher & breeder, Emily Fowler, Time Out Farm, Plattsburg, MO. As owners of Fabrianna B's grand dam, Third Level Dressage Horse of the Year, Marone (Matrose) who produced Gabrielle B by Guarantor, Fabrianna B very successfully represents three generations of Bridlewood Farm's breeding program--Congratulations to Fabrianna B!

ES DACAPRIO - NOW APPROVED ISR/OLDENBURG NA! Dacaprio is now recorded as an Elite Stallion with the AHS and passed his ISR/OLD NA Stallion Inspection with flying colors! Dacaprio was inspected for his Lifetime Breeding License at the conclusion of the 100-Day Stallion Testing at Paxton Farm. Dacaprio is fully approved with the AHS, VhW, GOV/OHBS, ISR/OLD NA, Westfalen, Southern German Federations and Breed Registries in both Denmark and France. Shown here with Barbara Schmidt, DVM and Jackie Holland at his ISR/OLD NA Stallion Inspection at Paxton Farm just a few days after his arrival to Bridlewood Farm. There is no doubt, Dacaprio has settled well into his new home at Bridlewood and is certainly enjoying his pasture turn-out in between showing off for visitors!

DACAPRIO UPDATE! HE IS IN KENTUCKY! Jens and Susanne Meyer and daughter Svea in a farewell photo with Dacaprio on the eve of his departure from Germany. Dacaprio traveled safely to the United States and everyone is so pleased that he has settled in well and is such a true gentleman. LORELEI B NAMED HIGH SCORING HANOVERIAN! Lorelei B, our 2007 filly by Lauries Crusador xx out of EM Dacapria (Dacaprio/Matcho X) was awarded High Scoring Hanoverian with the terrific score of 79.9% at the MSEDA Breeder's Classic, KY Horse Park, Sept. 13, 2007! She is pictured here with (L-R) Breeder/Owner, Barbara Schmidt, DVM, Handler, Emily Schappacher, (S) USDF Judge Bill Solyntjes, and AHS Executive Director, Hugh Bellis-Jones. In the Filly Championship, she placed third and qualified for the 2007 Great American/USDF Breeders Championships East Central Series! FABULEUX FILLIES A GREAT SUCCESS AT DEVON! Fillies from each of Fabuleux's first three US foal crops successfully competed at Devon. From The Heart (Fabuleux/Ratina Van De Leeuwerk) placed 2nd out of 27 in the 2007 Fillies Class for owner/handler Carrie Paolucci with a terrific score of 80.4%! In the Yearling Filly Class, Florabella, owned by Peg Lansing and handled by Silvio Busch placed 3rd out of a large class of 24 with a great score of 81.5%. Florabella also placed 1st in the large (19) Hanoverian Two and Under Individual Breed Class (IBC) with the excellent score of 79.9%! Rounding off the day in the Two Year Old Filly Class, Fabulaire tied for 6th place out of 31 in a highly compeitive class with a score of 72.6%. She is owned by Andrew Rodd and handled by Sara Venecek. Andrew Rodd and Fabulaire then tied for 2nd in the Amateur Handler Class with an outstanding 84.5%! Peg Lansing, Fleur De Lis Hanoverians, Prospect, KY then placed 3rd out of 12 entries in the Breeders Group Class with her wonderful fillies, yearling Florabella and 2-year-old Facette. Congratulations to all the Fabuleux Fillies!

BREED SHOW NEWS! The ever successful Fabuleux offspring Facette (Fabuleux/Bordeaux/Goldstern) and Florabella (Fabuleux/Metternich/Winston) won Get of Sire at the MSEDA Breeder’s Classic at the Kentucky Horse Park on Sept. 13, 2007! Both fillies were bred and are owned by Peg Lansing, Fleur de Lis Hanoverians, Prospect, KY. Fabuleux offspring were again successful in winning the NEDA Breed Show's Get of Sire Class on Sept. 12, 2007! Pictured at right to left :Eliza Rutherford’s 2-year-old, Floriana FH (Fabuleux/LeSandra/LePanto) and Jane Rodd’s 2-year-old Fabulaire (Fabuleux/Bordeaux/Picaro) and her 2007 GOV colt Footlight (Fabuleux/Flightline Request xx) represented Fabuleux. May 27, 2007 Colt (Guarantor X Liandra ) SOLD! Bridlewood Farm congratulates FEI dressage rider, Heather Ferguson, DVM of Whitemore Lake, MI on her purchase of this stunning colt. This very athletic colt will be a tremendous competitive prospect! Dr. Ferguson is a successful PSG/Int-I competitor with her Guarantor gelding Goldsmith (see Guarantor's offspring page) and also owns Wolkenschein, a three year old by Wolkenglanz out of Liandra (Linaro/Lord). Our Most Recent Arrival - SOLD! This beautiful Guarantor x SPS Laureen (Lauries Crusador xx/Eisenherz I) filly was born on June 6, 2007. She has already been sold to Hanoverian breeder/competitor Julie Providenti, Paradox Ranch, Sedalia, Colorado! After weaning, this very elegant and athletic filly will join Julie's two lovely 2007 Fabuleux foals, where she most certainly will become a valuable addition to Julie's successful Hanoverian breeding program. Congratulations Julie!

ADIOS III OFFSPRING ON COVER OF USDF CONNECTION! Aabracadabra (Adios III x Authenticyty ox/Cyty Lites ox) and her owner/rider Greta Wrigley were featured on the July cover of USDF Connection Magazine as an illustration of Best Dressage Bloodlines in Non-Warmblood Breeds.
