2013 COLT BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Safari/Kronjewll II/Vivare - Canadian Sport Horse mare) B/O: Jane and Jim Nellign, Ridgeville, Ont. Canada

"Our long awaited brother for Frankly Fabulous has arrived. He is a doll, all legs and full of curiosity. We have high hopes for him as he looks just about perfect."

FRANKLY FABULOUS - CHAMPION ROYAL WINTER FAIR
Owners Jane and Jim Nelligan report the 3-year-old Frankly Fabulous (Fabuleux x Safari/Kronjewll II/Vivare - Canadian Sport Horse mare), was a winner at the Royal Winter Fair again this year! He was the senior colt/gelding Canadian Sport Horse Champion. He also placed 6th in both the Governor General's Cup and the Lieutenant Governor's Cup for 3-year-olds. He had qualified for the Cup classes by finishing 4th in the Gov. Gen. qualifier which is the conformation class and 1st in the Lieutenant Governor qualifier which is the under saddle class, competing against forty 3-year-olds.

Owners comments: "He seemed to enjoy the entire showing experience... Again, thank you for registering Fabuleux as a Canadian Sport Horse. We will register our 2013 foal as a Canadian Sport Horse and hope that he can match his big brother's success."

Congratulations and we can't wait to see how his little brother (pictured above) grows up!

FOUR YEAR OLD FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Rohsina/Rohdiamant) Breeder/Owner Phyllis Svendsen. This lovely coming 4 year old filly by Fabuleux is currently being started under saddle. The dam, Rohsina is owned by Shari Glickman, GoodNess Ridge Farm LLC

FEMME FATALE - UNFLAPPABLE!
From the event barn of Megan and Howard Moore, Team CEO Eventing:
"Four years ago, on your advice, we bred a sister of Megan's first advanced horse to Fabuleux. Femme Fatale (Fizz) was the product, and she's the most people oriented foal we've ever bred. She has hunter movement, so we doubt we'll event her, but her personality screams "adult amateur" and we believe she'll be someone's lifetime companion. That doesn't demean her talent - she's a top class horse - it's a complement to her mind and her personality, as you can see in the picture. This was from our "young event horse challenge" where our students were each assigned an unbroken 3 yo to train - this is Fizz 60 days later being ridden/trained by an IT professional project manager! None of the other 5 YEH's would stay in the ring when Kelly practiced her umbrella trick with Fizz!"

FABLE - CHAMPION HUNTER!
Carol Moore reports that Fable was named Champion at the Will's Park show and he is now in his new home at Fortitude Farm in Alpharetta with a family to love him. His young rider is very accomplished for 16 years old and has won championships herself. Fable will attend the next show in January with her. Bridlewood Farm congratulates Fable and we look forward to hearing about all of his upcoming accomplishements with his young rider!

In Fable’s first show with his new owner, young rider, Genevieve Hackman, the pair won the Champion Pre-green 3' Division!.

FANDANGO - UP AND COMING EVENTER BY FABULEUX
Fandango is a 2007 Hanoverian by Fabuleux out of Fergie.

New owner, Megan Moore, reports, "He started eventing this fall, scoring a 29 in dressage in his very first outing. The pair finished in fifth place at River Glen Horse Trials in November 2012. He is a stunning mover with his sire's trademark "10" canter. He could easily be an excellent dressage, hunter, or eventer... But we are very excited about his future in eventing!!"

Trainer Howard Moore says, "He's the first Hanoverian (other than possibly Fizz, above) who's been brave enough for us as eventers - he has no fear at all. This is the first Hanoverian we've seen (other than Jung's horses) who fits the advanced eventing mold. He just needs to mature, steady into his work, and gain experience."

Megan has a professional eventing barn, www.teamceoeventing.com, and Megan has developed 3 horses to the Advanced eventing level in her young career as well as being named to the USET Developing Riders List in 2009, a USEA ICP certified instructor, and earned a USDF bronze medal with offtrack thoroughbreds. She's also developing her writing career with a well-received first article (5 more to come) in the January issue of Horse Illustrated.

FANE - UP AND COMING HUNTER BY FABULEUX
Owner: Andie Flanagan

"I wanted to let you know how impressed I am with Fane. We purchased him from Michele Ting 2 yrs ago and have been slowly working him forward. Michele thought he would enjoy jumping much better than dressage and he does without question. He is now located in Ottawa, Ontario and competed at a few hunter shows this year. He is probably the most awe inspiring horse I have ever known and his work ethic is second to none. He has a big heart and enjoys his athletic abilities in jumping so much that we have brought him on slowly. We absolutely adore his personality and he will be with us for his lifetime. Thank you for this wonderful horse."

FLORETTE FH
(Fabuleux x LaSandra/Lapanto/Sandsturm) Owner: Eliza Rutherford, Foxwood Farm, Charlotte, VT

"Coming 3 yr old (born in July)compact, dark bay filly by Fabuleux. Her FULL sister scored an overall "8" at her mare inspection (#5 in the country) and an overall "7.91" at her MPT (#2 in the country - with very good jumping scores) and was undefeated at 2nd level in 2011 (as a 6 year old with her AA owner). Her sister is a nice combination of a forward thinking attitude, a little bit of fire, and a super work ethic/rideability. This filly looks to follow in her footsteps. A perfect horse for someone looking for a forward, sensitive type with a level headed brain and willing temperament. She is sweet, easy to handle and never says no to anything. She is in the process of being started under saddle and she is as easy as they come. The type of horse that is "born broke"."

FANFARE - 2006 MARE BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Catera/Guarantor(dam line)/Martini/Chrysos) Trainer: Loma Fowler, Parker, CO

Trainer's comments: Fanfare is a 5 year old 16.1 h Registered Oldenburg, by FABULEUX , from the famous Fabriano bloodlines. She is easy to sit with 3 supple, professional-quality gaits, and a temperament and solid ground manners that would allow an adult amateur to have as much fun training at home as in the show ring!

It did not surprise her owner that at her first show, this FEI prospect scored at 8 for gaits, and a 67% at Training level -- but this was after climbing right into a strange new horse trailer at the crack of dawn and hauled to a farm where kids were dressing up for a Halloween costume class just outside the show ring. Due to the snow that started outside, there was no room to lunge her or put in a quality warm up before her first time in a show ring, and by the end of her 5 minute test she had the same floppy relaxed ears she has when she works at home!"

FASHIONABLY LATE - 2009 OLDENBURG FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Devon/Davingport/Hawk Hill xx) Breeder/Owner: Rebecca Cohen, Sunny Brook Farm, Lexington, VA

Breeder's comments: Fashionalbly Late is an elegant well-bred filly... From the moment she hit the ground with those runway model legs, it was evident Flash was an old soul possessing an uncanny , zen-like wisdom. Her noble stoic character, modern elegant type, natural athleticism, and versatile breeding make Flash an ideal young prospect for a career in dressage, jumping or eventing. Flash has three uphill forward gaits with a huge ground covering canter and a beautiful loft trot loaded with elasticity, suspension and a very quick hind leg. FORMULA ONE HPF - 2006 GELDING BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x EM Double Delight/Diamont/Duerkheim/Windhuk) Breeder: Horsepower Farm, Nancy Connolly, Vancouver, WA. www.horsepowerfarm.com

Formula One HPF is currently in training with USDF Gold Medal and FEI Rider/Trainer/Clinician Regina Agren of Castle Rock, WA. He participated in the AHS Young Jumper and Dressage Horse Training Symposium in 2011 as an In-Hand demonstration horse.

Breeder's Comments:Formula One is a coming five year old gelding with a willingness to please along with a fabulous work ethic according to his FEI rider/trainer Regina Agren. This uncomplicated gelding displays relaxation and throughness in all three gaits. His “10” walk dislplays naturally the overstride and swing thru the back we all strive for in the show ring. When he is taken to new arenas, and show clinics he never loses his ability to please, and “No- problem attitude”. He can display with ease his extended trot with recently confirmed lateral work. Formula One HPF is starting on canter walk transitions with the same willingness to try anything new he is known for by his trainer. He will be a fabulous lifetime partner to take to the upper levels. And did we mention that he can jump as well? Takes fences boldly, and with good form over the jump!"

Sandra writes: "Last spring she (Charisma) blessed us with Fiera, an elegant filly. She is an endless delight who loves to play in the dressage arena, performing one-tempis down the long side (as I envision a freestyle to Katy Perry's "Firework!")

Charisma was the high point non-Hannoverian mare at the AHS Inspection, and Fiera garnered comments such as "lovely type," "athletic" and "impressive."

Bridlewood Farm expresses sincere condolences to Fiera's owners and friends. She passed away as the result of a tragic accident.

Bridlewood Farm congratulates Frankly Fabulous by Fabuleux and his owner Jane Nelligan on their latest success at the Royal Winter Fair! Frankly Fabulous won his Two Year Old Class under distinguished dressage judge Hilda Gurney.

Photo: Lynn Cassels-Caldwell www.horsephotos.ca

Owner's Comments: "We are just home the Royal Winter Fair. What an experience it was. Our trainer warned me that there is no way to prepare a horse for the experience of the Royal. It is so big and so busy and so noisy. I am happy to say that Franky handled the experience far better than I could have imagined. Everyone who met him loved him, he seemed to have his own little fan club. A number of people asked about his breeding. And I hear that a few people are interested in owning him. I don't plan to sell him any time soon!"

"He won his 2 year old class and seemed to really enjoy being in the ring. He trotted beautifully and was very easy to handle. A number of people mentioned that they thought he was one of best moving horses of the day. He has the character and appearance that make people notice him. Hilda Gurney was the judge and I was so excited that she pinned him first."

FEDERAL FORCE AV - 2008 GELDING BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Welleslley/Weltstern/Wenzel I) Canadian Sporthorse
Breeder/Owner: Andrea Volasko, Mansfield, Ontario, Canada

Breeder's comments: "Federal Force AV makes you look twice. It's hard to walk past this horse without falling in love with him. He is well built with great muscling, and bone. He has a very correct front end with large round hooves, a lovely kind face attached to a well framed neck and body. He moves with the freedom and style you would expect from a Fabuleux son.

He has been through the free jump chute with excellent results, he showed stellar technique with excellent use of his back and legs, exactly what you would hope to find in top Hunter prospect.

His trot and canter are large, loose and easy to work with. He has a beautiful trot with huge reach, and just enough flick of the toe to make you want to drool.

He is currently broke to ride w/t/c and has free jumped up to 3'6" with ease. He has a very laid back approach to work and would much rather have to be pushed on then pulled back. His large stride will make it easy for him to make it down the lines. This horse has the potential to be extremely competitive in the A ring in the 4' hunters. He could also be a great dressage horse, it would just be a shame to waste his stunning jump."

FASCINATION STARR - SHINING IN THE DRESSAGE ARENA!
"We have a 6 year old gelding by Fabuleux and have had him since he was five months old. At his first show (a recognized show!) with dressage trainer Lauren Tisdale, he received two firsts (66.8 % T3, 64.4% T3), a second (65.2% T2) and a third place (58.7%)... and got a couple 8’s on his gaits! He has the most wonderful canter and his trot has developed nicely and will continue to develop as he gets stronger. He had so many new things he had to deal with and it was amazing. I was not expecting him to be able to handle everything he was exposed to all at once at a recognized show but he was a superstar. It is a real pleasure to ride him and he is a hard worker. He likes when you tell him good job and I think he looks forward to pleasing the rider."

Megan Barnhizer, DVM

Congratulations to team Fascination Starr from everyone at Bridlewood Farm! We look forward to hearing about many more wins in the future!!!

CONGRATULATIONS EMC FABULAIRE

FINE AS WINE - 2009 FILLY BY FABULEUX
Owner/Trainer: Linda Gonzalez, The Phoenix Equestrian Center

Owner's comments: "If we're not careful someone could get the idea that your stallion makes exceptional youth horses. This 2 year old came home with no less than 6 trophies. In everything from dressage (score of 67.5) to suitability and even jumping which for obvious reason was only w/t up to cross rails but talk about a mind on a filly. She is like no other young horse I have EVER had the pleasure to deal with. She loads in the trailer like she is excited for the next adventure, stands quiet the whole ride moves into a stall for 3 crazy days of fair with the mid way even in sight, eats and sleep like she lives in a palace while there, and goes out and wins almost every class she struts in to, helping make Bri one of the most successful riders of the 100 and some youth riders at our fair. We just wanted to write you and let you know how exited we are to call her ours and that you just might have found yet another avenue for your stallion. You can be very proud of this one. She really is quite amazing. I am guessing that possibly her bloodlines are definitely showing themselves."

FIERA - 2011 FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Charisma/Cubaner) Breeder/Owner: Sandra Adair, Willow Fork Ranch, Katy, TX

FLORIANA FH - SECOND LEVEL HIGH POINT CHAMPION!
Bridlewood Farm congratulates owner/rider Susan Boardman and Floriana on their great success!

Owner's Comments: "Just wanted to update you on Flori's show season so far this year. Our first show out we did Second level test 2 and won her class w/ a 71.57% and the next day we did Second level test 3 and she won her class w/ a 67.857% and was second level high point. We just came back from our second show and again she won her second level test 3 w/ a 67.619% and was reserve high point and then the next day rode the same test and won w/ a 69.52% and was high point. I couldn't be more proud of her! For just being a late 6 yr old and to be so perfect around the barns and such an amazing dance partner. She gets mostly 9's on all her medium canters and trots. The judges comments yesterday was "Elegant mare - a pleasure to judge". What a great friend and again the most incredible dance partner!"

FANFARE B - 2009 FILLY BY FABULEUX
All grown up! Fanfare B is by Fabuleux out of SPS Donna De Nira. Bred by Bridlewood Farm and owned and loved by FEI competitor/trainer Anne Aloi, Charlottsville, VA. FIRST DANCE LF - FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Cest Ditto/Con Noir/Fabuleux) Breeder/Owner: Laura Walker

"Thank you so much for sticking with me and for honoring the live foal guarantee into the next season. In the end the two young mares I bred in 2008 (one my own, one was leased... Catera owned by Con Brio Farms, mother of Fanfare) gave me offspring that were well worth the wait! First Dance LF (Cest Ditto/Cor Noir/Fabuleux) was just sold to a fabulous dressage home (she was incredibly hard to part with). She was premium and scored 8.2 for conformation at her inspection, 8.1 for movement. She truly has only improved with age. She is so balanced with beautiful cadence and effortless uphill movement. Even better, she has an incredible temperament. Both she and her brother were blanket trained in the middle of a sudden cold rainstorm last year, at night in about one minute with no problem at all. They learn quickly and
want to please."

FIDGIT - 2006 MARE BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Vienna - Westphalen Mare) Breeder/Owner: Elizabeth Fountain, Taylors, SC
Owner's comments: "I am an amateur rider and yet with only 3 months of professional training under saddle we confidently ride out together. I can get on her with months in between and she is the same horse under saddle as the time before. Her gaits are all long and lovely. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to both you and Fabuleux for such a magnificent mare."

FABIENNE DF - 2011 FILLY BY FABULEUX

She shows potential in both hunter and dressage. She possesses a powerful hindquarter and an aptitude for jumping."

FONTANA - 2005 MARE BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Regazzni Mare) Breeder: Karen Pliszka
Owner: Shelley Day, DayDressage.com
Owner's comments:
"I purchased my Fabuleux mare, Fontana, from Yvonne Barteau this past winter. I sold my upper level horse and had been looking for a young prospect for a bit. Yvonne wasn't looking to sell this very talented horse but since she knew the horse would stay with her and would compete with KYB she decided to let her go. I am very thankful for this decision. She is amazing! Fontana has 3 exceptional gaits and the sweetest temperament. I am looking forward to my future endeavors with this wonderful mare."

FAYME - WHAT BREEDERS STRIVE FOR
(Fabuleux x Wicca/Warkanson/Akzent II) Breeder/Owner: Anna Marriet, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Fayme is bringing joy to his new 15 year old owner! Breeder Anna decided that Fayme's heart just wasn't into serious dressage training. Her trainer started him over fences and WOW! You can see another video of Fayme further down this page.

Anna reports, "I sold him last October to a 15 year old girl, and they are simply the cutest pair. She is continuing work with the same trainer and doing the hunters and jumpers. I don't know how I managed to breed such a lovely hunter, but Fabuleux definitely had an influence! The temperament on this boy is so easy going, he loves his work and his effort really shows. They are going to be a hard team to beat once they both get some more experience (he just turned 5!)."

Bridlewood Farm congratulates Anna on being a great mentor and wishes Fayme and his owner the best of luck in the hunter ring.

FORTUNATO - GELDING BY FABULEUX

FALAUNA - 2005 MARE BY FABULEUX OUT OF DACAPRIO MARE
Fabuleux x EM Dallara/DaCaprio/Wolkenstein II

Falauna is a lovely elegant mare with top breeding top and bottom standing at approx 16h. As a yearling Falauna was the breed show winner and took top honors in her Materiale classes as a 3yo. Since then this sweet trainable mare has had low miles with lots of trail riding and field trips. She has a superb work ethic and is easy to frame. She has lovely lofty gaits that are easy to sit and a mind that is super to train. Falauna is a solid 2nd level and is now started on the flying changes.

Owner's comments:
"Falauna is currently schooling 2nd w/ some flying changes once in a while. VERY balanced mover. Her walk is HUGE w/ major overstep & big swing. Her trot is nice to sit, & the canter is ground covering & very correctly balanced as well.

WONDERFUL temperament, sooo quiet & sweet, very easy to ride, show, train on a daily basis. She really connects to her rider and aims to please every day. A real joy to have in the barn.

We expect to see Falauna in the FEI ring soon enough, as her correct huge walk, floating trot, & lofty smooth canter combined w/ her presence will have the judges scoring her highly!!! She's a great opportunity for a Jr, YR, or amateur to take to the top!"

FANTASTICA MLW - 2007 MARE BY FABULEUX

FRANKIE -FIRST TIME IN 3' DIVISION

Owner's Comments: "I have never seen him jump better. I think the slightly larger fences back him off a bit and make him THINK-- the 2'6 jumps are just speed bumps to him at this point. I also think the distances work better for his big stride at the slightly bigger heights. Not only did he take it all in stride and jump around 2'9-3'0 (we didn't even really jump courses at home, and he's never jumped a course that big-- let alone a show course with fill in the jumps) but his jump itself was awesome-- he was jumping Kristin out of the tack at times. He was a total gentleman in a VERY chaotic schooling ring..."

FEUGUEX - 2006 GELDING BY FABULEUX
"This is a big beeautiful talented horse. Very flashy and very easy to work with. He is very quiet and is only green broke at this time with a handful of rides, but pretty easy! He can go in any direction and could be a top level horse in the right hands." Owner: Sandi Williams 859-384-0992

CONGRATULATIONS FITZPATRICK BJF - BREED SHOW CHAMPION
Bridlewood Farm congratulates Fitzpatrick BJF (Fabuleux x Chloe/Contucci) Owner, Julie Huff, Olanthe, Kan. and Breeder, Dennis Goodwin, Blue Jacket Farm on their recent successes.
Two-year old Fitzpatrick BJF won the Two-Year-Old Hunter Breeding class, Two-Year-Old Sporthorse In-hand class and was Champion Sporthorse In-Hand at the American Royal, Kansas City in Oct. 2010. He also won these same classes at the same show as a yearling!

FABULUX - DRESSAGE HIGH SCORE CHAMPION
"We are so excited to update you and let you know that Fabulux (Fabuleux x Winter Starr/Winterprinz/Goldmilan/Pik Koenig) went to her first under saddle and won both of the open divisions with a score of 68 and 70% with a total of five "9's" and was named HIGHEST score of the entire show!!! She was a true champ and we couldn't have asked for a better first show, she also earned two qualifying scores for end of the year championships. Our trainer, Caitlin Casey, has had nothing but wonderful things to say about Lexi.

Lexi is a beautiful, athletic five year old mare by Fabuleux, out of a Winterprinz mare, with a temperament to die for! Forward thinking and sensitive yet sane and confident beyond her years, Lexi possesses the qualities desired in any sport horse.

She has a ground covering walk with huge over stride, a metronome-like trot and a huge canter with lots of scope. Lexi hacks out alone and with company and is always the same whether in a new place or in her home arena. She is schooling all of the first level movements and has begun some second level work. Lexi is a joy to work with both under saddle and on the ground. Lexi is also an Elite candidate with the Hanoverian society and is MMB GOV. She had a great inhand career from 1-3 years old scoring as high as 85%.

Also wanted to let her you her barnmate, Fargo by Fabuleux out of a Don Primero mare, went to his first show in January as well and won both his classes with scores over 70% and was named HIGHEST score of the show.
Please pass along hugs to all and let Fabuleux know he has made this breeder proud!

FANFARE CBF - 2006 FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Catera/Martini/Guarantor) Owner: Loma Fowler
Owner's comments:
"Fanfare is a talented 2006 Oldenberg filly with three, good, and correct gaits. She has a calm and trusting attitude which makes her easy to ride and train. Fanfare learns quickly and loves interacting with people.

Fanfare is a representative, modern sport horse. She has the conformation, gaits and disposition to attain the movements required for upper level dressage. Fanfare started her training as a two-year old with a natural horsemanship, Level Four Parrelli trainer. Fanfare was trailered, ponied around mountain trails, and did extensive ground work for basic training and confidence building.

She started her dressage training with Loma Fowler at Harmony Sporthorses in Colorado as a four-year old and has progressed quickly. The connection Fanfare has with the bridle is very even and light. Her balance in trot and canter transitions is super.

Fanfare's excellent training and her very good physical and mental abilities make her a premium prospect for the amateur or professional aiming at bringing a horse up to the top levels of dressage. Fanfare is ready to show in 2011 in training and first level dressage."

As a foal, Fanfare was Inspection Champion and one of the highest scoring Fabuleux foals in the country. See photos of Fanfare as a foal further down this page.

(Fabuleux x Belmont Abbey xx/Lancaster Avenue xx/Tudor Gleeman xx) Breeders: Scott & Kathy Campbell, Windsong Farm Hanoverians, Beaufort, NC Owner: Bonnie Gruber, www.bonniegruberdressage.com

Bridlewood Farm congratulates Bonnie Gruber and Fritz on their exceptionally successful first dressage season. Their excellent scores at Training Level were in the high 60's up to 70.4%.

"When I sold my horse I went back and forth as to whether to buy a youngster or a horse with more training. I'll be 59 next month and wasn't sure I wanted to risk riding a young horse. Now I'm very happy I did. I love his attitude and willingness to work. It is very exciting to have a lovely youngster to work with. I have my bronze and silver medals and hope to get my gold with Fritz. Fritz is a very sensible horse. He has amazed me at how he adapted to showing so quickly. Each show he just gets better and better about being in a new environment. I would not hesitate to recommend Fabuleux."

UPDATE! FIRENZA EMF - 2006 COLT BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Fun Choice xx/Don's Choice xx/Altitude Spray xx)- AHS Studbook TB & Non-Hanoverian Champion at her inspection. Owners/Breeders: Kris and Dan Schuler, Edgewood Meadow Farm, Fleetwood, PA. www.edgewoodmeadowfarm.com

"Firenza EMF, is a 2006 model and has been showing at Training Level this year (USDF median of 68%) under the professional Nancy Lewis-Stanton. She says he is a super horse to work with, very good work ethic and really nice gaits. I guess the judges have been commenting "FEI potential" on his score sheets. She hopes he stays in dressage even though his owner is a hunter rider. Says he has been super as a show horse and has even got scores in the 60% at First Level, not bad for a 4 year old. I think that she hopes he will be ready for the FEI 5 year olds next year."

ANOTHER THRILLED FABULEUX OFFSPRING OWNER!
Breeders: Dan and Laura Nickels Owner: Julie Tatar.

"Two years ago I purchased a filly by Fabuleux that was bred by Dan and Laura Nickels. She is now 3 years old. I am emailing you because I want you to know how thrilled I have been with her! I bought her because of her temperment, and I have not been disappointed!! She is curious, smart, and willing. For the last two years we have been doing a lot of ground work. She quickly grasps concepts and is such a willing partner....I absolutely love her, and we have had lots of fun together.
I am emailing now, as I recently started to ride her and I am even more impressed! I also want you to know her gaits are fabulous!
I know you have spoken quite highly of Fabuleux's temperment. I want you to know that while the mare was quite lovely as well......Fabuleux must also pass his great temperment. Thanks for standing such a great stallion. I would not have my lovely girl without you! I am hoping that at some point in the not so distant future....she will be proudly representing Fabuleux's line in the dressage ring. I will also performance test her either as a 4 or 5 year old."

FRANKLIN SQUARE - 2006 GELDING BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Forever A Memory/Wummerstern/Racquet xx) Breeders: Scott & Kathy Campbell, Windsong Farm Hanoverians, Beaufort, NC. Owner: Veronica Finkelstein

Update on Franklin Square at age 4, successfully competing at A rated Hunter/Jumper shows:
"He’s been truly wonderful and very, very easy. As close to born broke as I’ve ever seen. We’ve been taking him out to rated and schooling shows and doing mainly hunters but a little dressage as well. He’s performed very well in both. He’s now jumping 2’6 courses with changes. We actually never had to teach him changes, he’s very balanced and figured it out all on his own. He jumps very little at home, due to his age and the fact that he’s a natural at it. He absolutely loves to jump. He’s also very, very people oriented and is the first horse to call out and come running when he sees me entering the pasture."

Commets at age 3: "He's only three, but he's been off the property several times and been rock steady each time. My trainer rode him in a clinic with Richard Lamb and Frankie happily jumped small solid jumps despite having never done so before. He's been to two hunter shows and handled the atmopshere beautifully, pinning well each time in classes with much older/more seasoned horses. At his first schooling show he was first in three flat calsses and champion!"

"I even took him a dressage schooling show and rode him myself. I've never so much as BEEN to a dressage show, let alone ridden dressage (I do hunters). He was perfect for me and ended up 4th at intro test A despite having a rider who didn't have a clue. He was defeated only by upper level horses showing intro for schooling before their actual classes."

"He went to a HUGE horse show and was a superstar. Tents, blow up rides at a fair, 100s of horses, people whizzing past him on golf carts-- he took it all in stride. He's got a great brain! He went in a young hunter classes for horses 5 and under. He was the only 3 year old. He hacked beautifully. In the conformation division, he got moved up ahead of several horses and he was 6th overall... at a HUGE show in a class with VERY fancy horses. He'll be unstoppable next year when he's 100% solid on his leads. I couldn't believe how well he did with all the chaos!"

"In all, he's just been wonderful-- and he has a great future ahead of him. I wanted to let you know what a nice foal your stallion produced. He's only three and already he's been a rockstar, I can only imagine how he'll be once he's older and can really start jumping and showing."

FEDERAL FORCE AV - 2008 COLT BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Wellesley - Oldenburg mare) Breeder: Janako Farms, Ontario, Canada. "Federal Force is a stunning horse, with lots of muscling and bone, and most of all presence. He has excellent conformation, and movement, including his sire's large walk and outstanding canter. This colt will truely be a force to be reckoned with once he makes his 3 yr old year. He will be eligible for the canadian performance futurity, and if wished he could easily be approved as a stallion. He is well handled since birth, and is a very independent individual."

2009 FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Le Sandra/Lepanto/Sanstrum) Owner/Breeder: Eliza D. Rutherford, Fox Hollow Farm, Charlotte, VA.
Finally - a keeper filly out of Sandy!! I sold all of LeSandra's fillies thinking there would be more to come and she has insisted on having only colts for the past four years. This is an older mare who does not have many foals left in her and I was getting desperate for something to keep her line going in my broodmare band. The quality of horse this mare puts on the ground is outstanding and the temperaments on them are out of this world. This filly is a full sibling to Floriana FH, who was champion of her foal inspection and was just champion of her mare inspection with an overall 8! She even scored a 9 on her trot!! This filly is everything I had hoped for from this repeated cross and will hopefully carry on Sandy's legacy for
years to come."

FRISCO - 2008 ISR/OLD PREMIUM COLT BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Ostara/Caesar/Calme) Breeder/Owners: Stacie and Jeff Coder, Effingham,KS. Frisco was named Reserve Champion Colt at the Kimberly DeYoung ISR/Oldenberg NA Inspection.
Owner's comments: "What a gorgeous colt, no surprise as both sire and dam carry such outstanding physical and temperamental characteristics. Frisco is already showing signs that he has inherited some of his sires most wonderful characteristics. Frisco was a premium colt at the ISR/Oldenburg inspection and had lovely remarks by the judges. Frisco began his show career in May 2009 with the USDF Breeders Series. After two breed shows during the summer, Frisco showed an outstanding temperament for all the preparation and performance that showing required....he was a true gentleman."

FULL MONTY - 2009 COLT BY FABULEUX
Breeder/Owner: Whitney Piatkowski, VT. "SUPER PERSONALITY totally independent of his mom. She can be 3 acres away and he'll be standing with me getting groomed. Takes everything in stride - not very excitable low key and totally a dog - he comes when he's called and will stand for hours just to be groomed. He's a keeper. I think Fabuleux did a great job improving my mares shoulder and neck set..."

EMC FABULUX BMW - AHS INSPECTION HIGH POINT MARE!
(Fabuleux x Winterprinz) Breeder/Owner: Emily Giammona, CA.

Bridlewood Farm congratulates Fabulux B.M.W. and her breeder/owner on achieving the honor of Top Mare at her 2009 AHS inspection and Elite Mare Candidate status with an impressive score of 7.33! Fabulux scored 8's on both walk and trot.

"We just returned home from the Breeders Classic in LA with our Fabuleux filly Fabulux and she did SUPER!! She was Reserve Champion on Saturday with a %76 and then today she earned her highest score to date --- %79.4. I love her so much!"

"Her next stop is the Championships in LA in October and then she will be backed this fall before heading back home to be a pasture pet for the winter. I think by that time she will be ready for a little down time. We are so pleased with her and I am more than excited to see her under saddle next year!"

FABULUX - 2006 FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Winter Starr/Winterprinz/Goldmilan/Pik Koenig) Breeder/Owner: Emily Giammona, CA.
Bridlewood Farm congratulates Emily and Lexi on their successful showing!
"This past weekend was her first show of the season and she was 2nd in a class of really nice two year old Fillies scoring a 75.3% at the Starr Vaughn Breeders show. Lexi has been awesome and I am so happy with how she has turned out. Spending the time with her as a foal and training her through her first two years has been such a reward. She is now in in-hand training with Kevin and Ericka Reining of Lucchetti Ranch/Classic Sires. From here out we are planning on taking her to the LA Breeders Classic in August and then to the CDS/USDF Regional Championships in October. I happen to think she is pretty darn special!"

FIATO - 2008 COLT BY FABULEUX - BREED SHOW WINNER
Fabuleux x Piping Hot (Pablito/Pablo) Breeder/Owner: Victoria Barr, Caliente, NE "Fiato won the colts class at our last show in Bismark and is now qualified two time over for the year end west central championship. Peggy Klump was the judge and he recieved a 71.8. She really liked him and thought he was a great prospect She wrote " strong topline, elegant modern type, good muscling". Lilo Fore wrote "nice movement and will be an athlete". I think we are on our way to year end points. He really is a wonderful boy. I hope that I find someone to buy him to help him reach his full potential as a dressage horse."

"Fiato has an excellent temperament. He has been very easy to handle and loves attention! He has trailered, bathed, been clipped, is learning to cross tie and is handled daily. He is great for the farrier. He was a demo horse for a farrier clinic a part of our dressage society, and stood quietly for about 15 minutes while the farrier was handling his legs. When I was asked to trot him in hand, both the farrier and the trainer said "WOW" at his exceptional movement. He has a fantastic canter, like his sire, and huge, elastic trot. His walk is also very free with a nice overstride. At his inspection, the judge noted his strong hind end, wonderful topline, head and neck. He also received an 8.3 for overall type and impression. He should finish between 16.1 -16.2. Fiato has the movement to excel in dressage and a powerful hind end that could prove to be valuable for a jumper. He also has the temperament for an adult amateur or someone who wants a horse that is very trainable."

FORTISSIMO B - 2008 COLT BY FABULEUX
Fabuleux x EM Roma (Rubenstein I/Avus/Donani) Breeder: Bridlewood Farm, Owner: Camilla Van Liew, DVM, Charleston, SC.

UPDATE! Fortissimo B was named Reserve Colt Champion and third placed Young Horse Champion at the 2009 Georgia Horse Park Conyers, Georgia Breed Show!"

Fortissimo B's proud owner is Camilla van Liew, DVM. She is a dedicated Adult Amateur dressage competitor and is successfully showing the Advanced Event gelding, The Alchemist (competed at Rolex ****) in dressage at Prix St Georges. Fortissimo will be growing up with other youngsters on a 200 Acre breeding farm in Aiken, NC.
Breeder's comments: "He is one of the best we have seen, we couldn't be happier with this combination of Fabuluex and EM Roma. He has the gaits, conformation, and beautiful type that you like to see in a top prospect. His temperament is exceptional--we are thrilled!"
Owner's comments: "He is a really good boy, feels like he's an old soul with his "been there done that" outlook on life. He already crossties, loads well, hauls quietly, loves his bathes, clips, has had all sorts of tack and blankets all over him, stands for the farrier, stands by the mounting block, learning the basics of lunging and is learning about trotting up on the triangle. I'm planning on taking him to a dressage breed show over labor day weekend in Raleigh."

FABRIZIA HH - 2008 FABUEUX OLDENBURG FILLY
Fabuleux x Lisianthus (Rampal/Montgomery) Premium Oldenburg/Holsteiner mare. Lisianthus was the 1999 National high scoring Oldenburg mare. Breeder: Elizabeth Houtsma www.HillsideHRanch.com Owner: Kristen Anderson, Columbia, MO. We took our Fabuluex filly to her Oldenburg inspection today, and she had a great day. She sold in-utero and her new owner came to watch her be inspected. She was in an unfortunate growth phase, a little butt high and awkward, so the inspector gave her a 7.7 for conformation, but emphasized that she would grow out of it, but he had to judge what he saw today. BUT he raved about her movement, and scored her with an 8.5 !! also gave her an 8.2 for her overall impression for a total score of 8.1. Some of his comments were "typey, nice shoulder, very nice neck, PERFECT use of the hind end, incredible suppleness and extension, will make the perfect dressage horse". Those were quotes, so you can see why both the new owner and I were extremely pleased."

"We expect her to be a stellar dressage prospect. She has very correct conformation and already shows the ability to really use her hind end. Plus, you really couldn't ask for a better disposition; she is the friendliest foal on the farm!"

FALENA - CHAMPION FILLY (tie) AT HER AHS INSPECTION!
Fabuleux x Lasca (imported Holsteiner jumper mare, Landgraf, Capitol, Ramiro bloodlines) Breeder/Owner: Becky Boydston
"Falena is an exceptional filly in conformation, movement, and temperament. They don't come any prettier, and more typey, or more correct."
"Out of 8 fillies at the Sullivan Farm inspection today, my beautiful Falena showed her stuff, she literally floated. The judges went on and on about how good her movement is - mentioned several times, her free shoulder, her powerful rear, the excellent cross of Holsteiner and Hanoverian, and how big and pretty she is - (the German judge) sang her praises and the breeding of Fabuleux to Lasca.
"She tied for champion filly. The German judge also asked me if I was showing her in breed shows, and that she is an excellent filly."

FLEUR NOIRE - 2008 FILLY BY FABULEUX
Fabuleux x Dauphine (Davignon x SPS Mon Amour/Matcho xx) Breeder/Owner: Sandy Hunt, Williamston, MI

FARSIRIS - 2008 FILLY BY FABULEUX
Fabuleux x Adear (Petrossian/Turk’s Choice XX (Night Cruiser XX), Rhinelander Mare. Breeder/Owner: Marie D. Domke-De Witt, Rochester, MN.
Photo from the ISR/OLD NA Inspection at Borderline Farm in MI. "...the judge took the time to mention both sides of the pedigree when he expressed the promising attributes of Farsiris, he loved and remembered Adear, her movement and the success of Hanoverian Pik line. When he saw that I bred her to Fabuleux he also shared what a good choice this was commenting "very nice choice", and explaining the success of Fabuleux's lines giving details of both the dam and sire side. He is very knowledgeable of the stallions available, their history and the difference between a well thought out breeding choice and those who are just breeding what's in their back yard. I felt special for the extra time he took to share what he obviously felt was worth while information to help educate the audience. No other horse or foal's pedigree was given such recognition at the event, so we both should be very proud!

Farsiris is extremely cognitive, she already thinks she is a big horse, her athleticism is beautifully "up-hill" and naturally expressive, as an FEI rider I couldn't be more excited about a foal. Thank you Barb for your support, you and Fabuleux have ours too"

"Looking for the right stallion to pair with my mare who already has a proven record with both breed registry and USDF DSHB championships was a bigger task than I had realized. There are so many nice horses out there but finding the type and quality to match my mare (my preference), was tricky. Fabuleux's ability to pass on his strengths complemented my mare's strengths so nicely to produce something very special. This may sound funny but I knew at the first moment when I saw her two front feet coming out that she was very special, to me they might as well have been gold and diamonds."
"Farsiris is very intelligent copies everything mom does even figured out how to drink out of the automatic waterer by day three. She is extremely affectionate and gives everyone kisses."
"Her movement is really exciting, she does have a really big walk like mom and dad, I think her trot is going to be something really special and her canter from what I can tell right now looks like it could end up to be a 10 like her daddy! She is very balanced. To me she is a wow, I hope the Germans will think she is too."

FLEURETTA EMF - 2007 FILLY BY FABULEUX
Fabuleux x Fun Choice xx (Don’s Choice xx/Altitude Spray xx) Main Studbook TB mare who has also passed the Mare Performance Test. Breeder: Kris Schuler, MS, Edgewood Meadow Farm, Fleetwood, PA www.edgewoodmeadowfarm.com Owners: Christine Vanneck and Sarah Owen, Muny Sunk Stables, Inc.

UPDATE: Fleuretta EMF has been under saddle with her owner, a hunter rider who shows in the Southeastern Circuit. She reports that Fleur is fabulous under saddle and already knows her lead changes (as a 3 year old). They have high hopes that she will be a super hunter, and hopefully, eventually a hunter derby horse."

"I am very, very happy with this filly. She has a SUPER walk and very good canter – she is very free in the shoulder. She did well (in her first HB show) (two 2nds)... what is interesting is that a person approached my handler after the class – this person actually happened to be a carded Hunter Breeding judge – and asked the breeding of the filly and stated that “This filly should have been at The Devon Horse Show”. Pretty good response from her first time out. And the filly’s temperament is STELLAR – both at home and at the show. She acted like she was showing all her life and behaved perfectly with not much calling, no spooking, and just really good. My handler was tremendously impressed with the temperament, looks and movement of the filly (she had only seen a few inspection photos of her prior to this show). I will take her to a USDF show this summer."

"Anyway, I cannot say enough about how sweet and willing this filly is and she really is beautiful (imagine what she will look like as an adult as these are yearling photos!)."

"Dr. Schade (Hanoverian Verband) said she was the best conformed foal at last year’s Inspection.”

"This filly has been free jumped a few times and shows good form with nice square knees. She has a breathtaking walk (oversteps 12 inches or more, huge strided canter, and a very nice flat kneed trot -- she will place highly in the hack. She has nice ribbons in hunter breeding and is usually in the top of her class, at Devon she placed 9th out of approximately 18 horses."

FARGO - 2007 COLT BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Diana/Don Primero ) Breeder/Owner: Stacy Zwergel.
"I just wanted to give you an update on Fargo as he is turning one year old on Saturday. We went to our first breed show, the Shelly Siegel Breed Show in Santa Rosa, California. He was Champion in his Yearling Colt Gelding prospect class! Everybody loved him. He couldn't have been more of an angel. He trailers, clips, bathes, etc. without any problems. He will actually skip eating to come hang out with me."

"He's been just a joy. I adore him and his personality. I just brought him home from pasture for a few months to get more acquainted and he's quite a heartbreaker. Everybody at the show was shocked at his personality and how good he was. Fargo was the only one in his class without a chain on and didn't step a foot wrong. I've been nothing but pleased with how this turned out."

"We are delighted with "Fabulina W ". She is growing into a real beauty and has legs that don't stop, she is going to be a tall girl. Blanche and Fabuleaux really did it again. What a delightful and expressive filly "Lina" is. She is very correct with a beautiful uphill canter and floating trot. "Lina" is refined and feminine and is an outstanding credit to her sire. We didn't think too much more could be done to improve on this wonderful mare, but were we wrong, thank you Fabuleux."

FABRION - 2008 COLT BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Par Avion/Parabol) Oldenburg mare. Breeder/Owner: Rosemarie Rynkiewicz, Paradise Hill Farm, Elmira, NY.

(Fabuleux x Solanje/Hailo/Martini - Trakehner mare) Breeder/Owner: Pam Neff, Grand Oaks Dressage Center, Gainesville, Florida. Oldenburg filly by embryo transfer out of Solanje.
Trainer Andrea Hayden's comments: "I am a young horse trainer and breeder. I started Fanta Sea thirty days ago, slowly and with care. I wanted to tell you that she is by far the easiest and most rideable 3 year old I have ever sat on. She is sensitive, forward and oh so light, without being spooky, touchy or hot. She is calm and quiet, accepting of the bit and her rider. I really enjoy her."

"I am raising a Fabuleux yearling for Mary Lou Winn, and she also has the best character. I am expecting 2 Fabuleux's for myself this year as well."

Sadly, Freya was killed in a tragic barn fire in January of 2012 after being sold to a new owner. We extend our condolences to all on this sad news.

"She is definitely a high quality filly, and very endearing. I do love my Fabuleaux filly!! I am really pleased with the filly. She is very sweet, quiet, feminine, pretty, pretty, pretty...a really girly girl. She's a peach!"

"Freya is amazing! She is very smart, and has turned out to be my husband's favorite, and for a non-horsey husband, he has very good taste. She will be started in the Spring, and I would really like to take her out to some breed shows, if she does not sell right away...she is an awesome individual. Great character, fabulous push from behind, really free in front...just "Fabulous!"

FROLICH D - 2005 FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Fame Q/Wertherson) Breeder: Lauren Dearlove, VA. Owner: Amy Chandler, Union Bridge, MD

Owner's comments: "To say the least I just love her to pieces! She has a fantastic temperment and as an amateur, I was able to back her myself. After that, I sent her back to Lauren (her breeder) for 30 days of undersaddle training in late fall. I have included a picture of our first ride--she had only been trotted a handful of times and cantered once and she was just fantastic for me! In fact, she has had off since then and we'll wait until the spring, but I hopped on her last week to go for a walk and she was perfect!"

FIATO - 2007 COLT BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Piping Hot/Pablito/Pablo) Breeder/Owner: Victoria Barr. "Fiato has an excellent temperament. He has been very easy to handle and loves attention! He has trailered, bathed, been clipped, is learning to cross tie and is handled daily. He is great for the farrier. Exceptional movement. He has a fantastic canter, like his sire, and huge, elastic trot. His walk is very free with a nice overstride.

FANTASTICA - 2007 FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Rubizza/Rubinstein I/Sendbote) Breeder: Mary Lou Winn, Home Again Farm, Florida “ I could not be more pleased with this filly. She has the long, long legs and canter that I had hoped for and her temperament could not be better. She is definitely a keeper.”

Fantastica's temperament cannot be beat and her movement is excellent. She is long legged, has good bone, an easy going and fun personality. Her walk is very correct, with a long and swinging stride. Her trot is expressive, with good suspension, elasticity and a clear rhythm. She inherited her papa's fabulous canter. She should be a dream come true for an ambitious dressage rider and also would make a very valuable member of any serious breeder's mare herd. I believe she will shine under saddle.

Rebreeding Rubizza to Fabuleux in 2010!

FAVULOUS - 2007 FILLY BY FABULEUX--TOP FILLY AHS INSPECTION
(Fabuleux x EM Favre/Walldorf/ES Gesandt) Owner/Breeder: Mary Messinger, Kingston Farm, Hillsborough, NC.

Favulous was chosen as the top filly at the Honey Locust Farm AHS Inpection. In the Fall 2007 AHS Magazine, she was complimented for her elegance and convincing movement.

"My Fabuleux filly out of my EM Favre is super great! We named her Favulous and she's pretty fabulous. Leggy, refined and a beautiful face. We could tell that she had a really nice canter and now at 3 weeks she is showing off a trot that will knock your socks off! I am really excited about her. She is super quiet and easy to handle."

"Her temperament, conformation and movement are the best and she was named top filly at her very competitive AHS inspection this year. The inspectors commented on her strong hindend and her natural ability to half-halt. She is very athletic in anything she does. Super mind and very easy and sweet. Fabuleux's foals are making a name for themselves and many kudos from the judges. Favulous has a very pretty refined face and modern conformation with a dark coat."

"Favulous will be 3 this year and her new owner is having Eliza Sydnor break her so I’m excited she’s going to have a good start."

FARLEY

FIREFLY - 2007 FILLY BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Dragonfly) Breeder: Kim King, Saskatoon, SK, Canada Owner: Whitney Piatowski
My mare, Dragonfly was inspected in September, 2007. Firefly is 4 months old now and still at her mom's side. I am just writing to tell you that never in my life have I had so many compliments on a horse as Firefly received. The inspectors commented on what an obvious improvement the foal was, her type was much more obviously refined as compared to the mare. Better neck, shoulder and better length of croup than the mare. Her legs are PERFECT. Her movement was described as very big and loose mover. Strangers who did not know me came up to me to comment on her....! Firefly is registered as a Canadian warmblood foal. Thanks again and what a super stallion!"

" I think she has the perfect canter! My filly is super cute, very leggy and definitely a good size. She has a really cute face and very nice straight legs... YIPPEEEEEE!!! Thanks again for making this breeding happen!"

Firefly has found a wonderful new home in Calgary AB. Her new owners are considering taking her to the Hanoverian mare
inspections at Spruce Meadows in the future, which is very exciting for me. Firefly has grown into a beautiful balanced yearling. Her legs and feet are perfect, her movement is beautiful. However, her BEST quality is her temperament, she seeks out people, she very calm, laid back, and very smart.
I can see she is "Fabuleux". I know she will make an excellent mount and future broodmare for her new owner.

"I wanted to say how wonderful Fabulano is, he absolutely has the best temperment ever. ...when he moves he absolutely takes your breath away. He has a natural passage and piaffe and we have high hopes for him. My daughter is currently showing I-I with her 22 yr old and is going to go for Junior/Young Riders next year, she had to drop out this year, then her goal for Fabulano is to go for the Bretina Cup and from what I see it will be an easy goal....he is going to grab everyone's attention."

Breeder's comments: "Fabulano has an incredible shoulder and neck with an equally strong hind quarter. He is marked with 2 beautiful matched hind socks with a perfectly placed star. Fabulano's refined chiseled face adorned by soft brown eyes make this colt irresitable! If his movement is as refined as his confirmation this colt will float before our eyes! (Fabuleux x Fun Choice xx/Don's Choice xx/Altitude Spray xx)- AHS Studbook TB & Non-Hanoverian Champion at her inspection. Owners/Breeders: Kris and Dan Schuler, Edgewood Meadow Farm, Fleetwood, PA. www.edgewoodmeadowfarm.com

Firenza EMF got very good comments from judges, Volker Ehlers (AHS) and Jurgen Rump(GhV) at the large AHS Inspection held July 30, 2006 at Rolling Stone Farm. "A very tall colt who combines the best qualities of his TB mother with the fine attributes of his Hanoverian father. A muscular colt with excellent type, lovely head, excellent neck, and good overall proportions.
His movement is quite good with excellent rhythm and reach. He is overall exactly what we are hoping for when we choose to include a fine TB mare in our Hanoverian breeding program. The choice of Fabuleux for this mare was excellent!"
Photos: SusanJStickle.com

Owner's comments: "He has a very friendly personality and will have beautiful markings, actually very similar to Fabuleux's. Two hind socks and the star is of a very similar shape to his Dad. His walk is big and swinging and the canter is nice and engaged and uphill."
"He is the best foal out of this mare to date. She is one of the few TB mares to pass the Hanoverian MPT, and she did so with an "8" on rideability. This Fabuleux colt is very similar in type to her other foals, but his movement is superior - with an excellent walk and canter. The trot I have seen looks like it will be very nice with nice freedom of the shoulder and good rhythm."
Fun Choice is in foal to Fabuleux for 2007.

"His new owner is just thrilled with Fable. Her vet thought Fable was just great. He was tremendously impressed with his temperment (it really couldn't be better) and also with the fact that Fable is halter broke, leads, lets you pick up all of his feet, stands to be brushed, etc."

Owner: Carol L. Michalik-Moore, Canton, GA. Owner's comments: "I thought you might like an update regarding Fable who arrived at our farm (Rosewalk Farm) on the 6th of November, 2006. He won the hearts of all of our “neigh” bors, kids, horses, dogs and the walkers on our road. He was just the most friendly, curious, spirited and you could just see the joy of life in him. I have never seen any horse cover the ground as gracefully and effortless – he looks like a gazelle at times with leaps, flying changes, even a capriole and levade thrown in when he is just turned out in the morning. I know he will make someone a fine riding horse someday as who could ask for more? Thanks for finding Fabuleux!"

She loves and craves human attention and runs to us when we go out to the pasture. Each AM she is groomed just like the other horses and has her time in the barn aisle with us. She picks up her feet and stands still for brushing and grooming and didn't mind the clippers at all when I put them on her. I believe she could be a dressage star."

"Dr. Schade named Future Perfect Best Colt and overall Champion Foal 2005 at his inspection, saying he was tops for type, conformation, and movement. He pointed out his sloping shoulder, good croup and legs, and the freedom and swing of his movement. There were 18 very good foals. Dr Schade noted that Fabuleux is presenting a very good foal crop This boy is a delight, with a gentle easy temperament about which I have no reservations."

"Future Perfect is a very tall, graceful colt, and a credit, I believe, to his father. His temperament is great - not shy, very cuddly. His conformation and movement are what one hopes for. I don't routinely breed-back in successive years, but you will surely hear from me again, as I believe this has been a very good cross. Thank you for all your help and support throughout the breeding process. And congrats on the number of very good foals (and happy owners) that Fabuleux is producing this year."

"This Fabuleux colt has an amazing canter, great walk and trot, and tons of charisma. He is for sale, and is capable of going far. In common with other Fabuleux foals - from what I've read and seen - Perfect has a great topline, long legs, uphill carriage, and innate friendliness and confidence. "Thanks a million for such a beautiful baby."

FARLEY - RESERVE COLT AT AHS INSPECTION!
(Fabuleux x EM Winnie/Warkant/Nevado xx) Owner: Diane Cooke, Inspiration Farms, Knightsen, CA. "Dr. Wilkins was quite taken by Farley, my EM Winnie's offspring by Fabuleux. "Wow! Now that's a trot" and "that's the best trot we've seen all day" were his words." Farley ended up reserve champion colt over 20+ foals at the Silverhorne Sporthorse Inspection, Rancho Cordova, CA. "I couldn't be happier. If you want a typey foal with awesome movement, breed to Fabuleux. My mares are both nice, but different types. This stallion really stamps 'em." FRANGELICA - PREMIUM OLDENBURG FOAL!
(Fabuleux x Annisette/Adios III/Waldloewe - ISR/OLD NA Mare) Breeder: Terry Walker, Sterling Oaks Farm, Canal Winchester, OH. Frangelica was Premium out of 14 foals at the Oldenburg Inspection at Gypsy Woods Farm (Home of George Williams and Rocher). Judge Ekkehard Brysch awarded Frangelica an 8.1 overall score. (8.1 conformation, type and correctness of gaits, 8.0 swing, elasticity and athletic ability, 8.1 overall impression).

Her dam's sire Adios III was Bridlewood Farm's first Hanoverian stallion. You can see Adios III's photo on the Bridlewood Farm "Our History" page.

"This filly is beautifully put together. I can't be happier... Fabuleux seems to be like a rubber stamp. I have seen photos of many of his foals now.... same, same, same! Those incredible long legs, china doll heads, same wonderful movement. Not to mention sweet temperaments. I will venture to say that we will not see too many foals for sale....breeders will be keeping most for themselves!!"
"Fabuleux improved on my mare with a better shoulder, shorter back, longer legs and overall better movement on the foal. I will be re-breeding her back next year to Fabuleux. This was her third foal and definately the best of the three." Annisette is in foal to Fabuleux for 2006. Frangelica is pictured here with her dam Annisette.

FLORIANA RH - TOP FILLY AT HANOVERIAN INSPECTION!

NEWS! Floriana won first place at the GMHA Dressage show on June 21, 2009! This was her first recognized show as a 4 year old!

"She is the most ROUND mover I have ever seen - her whole topline rounds and lifts when she moves. This is a horse that will shine under saddle."

Floriana RH, won the NEDA Breed Show's Get of Sire Class on Sept. 12, 2007!

Floriana RH, by Fabuleux was named the Champion Filly out of 18 foals at the River House Hanoverian Inspection! She is a lovely filly who is most likely sold, I would have liked to keep this one!"

"Judge Gerd Zuther had very high praise to say about the Fabuleux foals he had seen across the country. He even said that they had impressed the German judges on the tour! I had two at the River House inspection and he was very, very positive on both their comments. He called both outstanding foals."

"I have two Fabuleux fillies. Both foals have better croups than their mothers - one mare's croup is on the flat side and one mare's croup is on the short side - both foals have nice, round hind ends."
"This Fabuleux filly was named champion filly of the large River House inspection. Judge Gerd Zuther greatly praised her conformation and how she uses her body when she moves. He said he could see the upper level movements in her and she had a bright future as a dressage horse, or better yet a broodmare. He praised the quality of the Fabuleux foals across the country and said that they had even impressed the German judges."

Debra Crockett Maddux, Legend Hill Farm is the owner of Fabuhall (Fabuleux x SPA Diotima/Donnerschlag/Matrose) "I received the email (from Suzy Coleman) and couldn't believe the resemblance of the two foals! Wow...."

UPDATE! He is being ridden by Olympian Lisa Wilcox in CA this past week-end... He stands 17.2H at 4.5 yrs old... I am ...so proud! Congrats to Diane and Dennis for bringing this fabulous horse along and getting him into the right hands. I know he has a super career ahead!!"

"We sold Fabuhall at 3.5 weeks old. The new owners are so thrilled with these world class bloodlines that they are flying from CA to Virginia to see him again at his inspection. As breeders, it is important for us to pick the very best performance tested mares and select stallions with proven competition bloodlines. ES Fabuleux has proven to be competitive in the international dressage world and now is proving to pass along his elegance, willingness to work and tremendous suspension of grace that is so desired in the dressage arena. Producing a foal from Fabuleux has been a delight as well as a much anticipated experience as we watch this foal develop into tomorrows dressage champion! Thanks to Dr Barb for importing such a wonderful sire Fabuleux!" SPA Diotima is in foal to Fabuleux for 2006.

FASCINATION STARR
(Fabuleux x Falqua) Breeder: Peggy Powell, Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. Owner: Megan Barnhizer, DVM, Chagrin Falls, OH. "Both of Falqua's babies with your stallions, Wolkenglanz and Fabuleux, were exceptionally nice." Fascination Starr was purchased as a dressage prospect by Prix St. Georges competitor Megan Barnhizer, DVM.

FABIOLA
(Fabuleux x Wiola/Welfenschatz/Bolero) Breeder: Terry Walker, Sterling Oaks Farm, Canal Winchester, OH. "Sweet, friendly, and the movement is wonderful, elastic and uphill! I have two Fabuleux foals, both fillies. Both are out of different types of mares. One mare is refined, the other more of the old style. But both foals are totally the same! We are very lucky to have this stallion here in the US. I hope that the other breeders are blessed with the same beautiful foals that we were. I will be rebreeding both mares back to Fabuleux in 2005." Fabiola has been sold to Debra and Thomas Parent, West Lafayette, IN. "She floats across the pasture."

Owner's comments: "I do love this horse. She is so sweet and willing. I get remarks from other horse owners and trainers that Fabby has a very sweet disposition.

Fabby is so trusting of her handler (me) that her behavior even as a 3 year old in an overwhelming place such as a horse show was exemplary. The judge gave her "7s" on her gaits and impulsion" on her very first test... She definitely has great potential as a dressage horse."

(Fabuleux x EM Dynastar/Don Primero/Donnerhall) Breeder: Bridlewood Farm Owner: Leslee Mayes-Hawn, Caddo Mills, Texas

FABRIANNA B - 2005 MARE BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Gabrielle B/Guarantor/Matrose) Breeder Emily Fowler, Time Out Farm, Plattsburg, MO. Breeder's comments: "Fabrianna won her weanling class in the 2005 USDF/Cosequin Regional Qualifer with a score of 75.5% and placed second in the IBC Hanoverian class with a score of 75.4% only one tenth of a point off the winning score." This filly has been sold to Maggie Stonecipher, Stoney Meadow Farms.

Owner's comments: Fabrianna B continues to grow and mature into a stunning young mare. She had an impressive debut in 2007 winning the following USDF Awards with a medium of 80.6%
* USDF DSHB Horse of the Year - #2 Two Year Old Filly
* USDF All Breed Award - American Hanoverian Society - #1 - Two Year Old Filly
And of course she is still just stunning. I am just totally thrilled that I have her and look forward to when she
is under saddle."

"Fabrianna has just been a joy to raise and is so very intelligent. She is very willing and well mannered. We are in awe of her balance and power as she just floats in all her gaits. And as others have noted about their Fabuleux foals, the walk is outstanding! Thanks so much for offering this incredible stallion - he is truly a rare gem!

FLORIAN RW
(Fabuleux x Esmaralda/Eisenherz I/Pik Koenig) Breeder/Owner: Kendra Hansis, Runningwater Warmbloods, Ashford, Connecticut. "He's wonderful and strong and cute as a button. He's got both a lovely trot and canter, and he did two clean lead changes his first time out. His movement is the best I've seen on a foal (and I've seen some very NICE foals), and I think he's going to be an international quality horse, if not a stallion prospect." Esmaralda has been bred back to Fabuleux and is in foal for 2006.

FENDI
(Fabuleux x Point Noir/Pointmaker/Diamont) Breeder/Owner: Kimberly Raimirez, Shakespeare Farm, Santa Cruz, CA. "I have 2 foals by Fabuleux. Both foals are more compact than their mothers. One mare is quite long and this filly's frame is shorter than some of her other foals."
"At her inspection at River House Hanoverians, judge Gerd Zuther had very favorable comments to say about her as well as my other filly - they are VERY similar. He called them both outstanding foals."
"I am super pleased with both of these fillies! I think Fabuleux improved the croups/hind ends of both mares and one filly is a substantially better mover than her mother. Also, he shortened up the back of one mare."

FLIRTATION
(Fabuleux x EM Geena/Grusus/Westpoint) Breeder: Cindy Hess, Quail Run Farm, Marshall, VA. Owner: Jonathan Stillman. "We're very pleased with the result of this breeding choice. Thanks for bringing Fabuleux to the US. We were confident of our choice for him for this mare last year and that confidence has now proved to be well-founded. I couldn’t be happier. It’s hard to fault her conformation: great shoulder angles, lovely back, strong and well-formed haunches, with an overall sense of refined type. And, she’s gorgeous."

FRONT PAIGE NEWS

From judge George Walker at the Oldenburg Farm kuering “This filly has excellent hind end drive we breed for in dressage horses, notice how she steps under herself, instead of slipping out from behind, as we see in many dressage horses today.”

"Thanks for bringing such fine German Bloodlines and breeding to the US. Both our fillies have that "in your pocket" personality. I'm sure that comes from Fabuleux. Ginger’s foal has perfect markings, perfect little head, could canter in a teacup. She is a true dressage queen…”

FINLEY - 2005 GELDING BY FABULEUX
(Fabuleux x Two Socks/Tanzenlicht/Skihigh) Owner: Lisa Dunn, Creek View Farm, Cumming, GA " He is going to be a big boy! At inspections he received nice remarks about his gaits from Volker Ehlers. Mr. Ehlers also had many great things to say about Fabuleux and Fabriano."
"Finley is a lovely jumper and really seems to love it. He is very brave and careful. I have two of his sisters, both are Elite Eligible. He is very calm and friendly, but still has enough attitude to be a great competitor."

FABULESSA
(Fabuleux x SPS Blanche/Bon Bonaparte/World Class I) Owner: Mary Lou Winn, Home Again Farm, Waldo, FL. "We are thrilled with her! I just got to see my Fabuleux/Bon Bonaparte filly really move yesterday when I was showing the mare to a buyer. Oh my goodness. The filly's canter just wowed me and my trainer who was also there. I bred to Fabuleux largely for the quality of the canter and it definitely has come though."
"This pretty filly has one of the best canters I have ever seen on a young foal. Her trot is round and has lots of suspension. She is very sweet and easy."

FRAPPUCCINO HCF
(Fabuleux x Rexona/Rubenstein/Barsoi xx) Breeder: Patti Monroe, Cypress, TX. Sold to Kelly Molinari, Wellington, FL.

UPDATE: Owner's comments:My name is Kelly Molinari. I purchased Frappuccino HCF as a 9 month old and have really enjoyed watching him grow. He was of the first Fabuleux foal crop in 2005. He is a beautiful dark bay with movement that just takes my breath away. His personality is amazing; he is so sweet and curious. He is smart as a whip and learns incredibly fast. He is well put together and quite tall, I haven't had a stick on him lately but barefoot I surmise he is every bit of 16.3 hands. I started him in under saddle training around the first of this year. He spent 9 months learning all of the basics with a very patient and kind reining rider in Waller, Tx. In August I brought him to Peter Pletcher's farm for a trial assessment ride. Peter liked him very much and as of Sept 1st he is now with Peter beginning his Hunter training. I am very excited that Peter is working with him because he will really help Frappy mature into the great Hunter I think he has the potential to be. It is amazing what Peter has already taught him in two short weeks. I currently live in Wellington, FL so can't be there to watch the progress first hand. I hope you will enjoy seeing how lovely another beautiful Fabuleux baby is doing. I hope that Frappy can make his debut in the Baby Greens at WEF.

Thank you so much for importing an incredibly correct and beautiful stallion that has blessed me with a wonderful offspring."

Breeder's comments: "He was imprinted at birth and every day there after. He has strong hindquarters, great freedom in the shoulder, with beautiful movement and a beautiful head. His temperament is outstanding. Fabuleux really let his great genes come through. See more pictures of this foal on our website at www.highcirrusfarm.com. I am rebreeding this Rubinstein mare to Fabuleux this weekend."
Frappucino will begin a performance career with his new owners.
