EM Delanie fulfilled her final requirement by producing a foal in 2009! EM Delanie is the full sister to 2005 USDF/Cosequin Finalist Donnerstolz. "Delanie won her yearling class in the 2004 USDF/Cosequin Regional Qualifer and placed second in 2005. In 2007 Delanie performed her Mare Performance Test and was inspected. She showed very good rideability (8) scoring 7 trot, 8.5 canter, and 7 walk. During her evaluation she also received 7's on head, neck, frame, foreleg, hingled, correctness, and impulsion and elasticity. Her saddle position scored an 8 thus giving her a final score of 7.0 and qualifying her to be an Elite Mare Candidate. She has an incredible temperment and is a joy under saddle."

	EMC DENALI HG BY DONNERKEIL - OUR NEWEST BROODMARE!!! Donnerkeil/AdiosIII/Woermann/Marconi/Jonkheer xx/Frustra) ) Successfully shown over fences by Heather Wenzell-Garrett, DVM, Denali HG now returns to Bridlewood Farm to join our broodmare band. We feel she will be a wonderful addition combining her athleticism and versatility to pass on to her offspring! Heather's comments: "Denali is a stunning chestnut, havoverian mare with all the crome and a beautiful thick tail! Sired by Donnerkeil and out of an elite hanoverian mare. She has been shown up to 1.20m (4'). Last year she showed in California and did very well at Thermal. She showed in Canada and Oregon and won a bunch! She's fast, has a fantastic jump and would make a great derby horse. She jumps all the natural obstacles great! She has a winning personality and loves attention. She moves a 10+ and could do well as a dressage horse."

When I rode her that day, She was very forward. She was practically doing canter pirouettes when I rode her. She's 8 now and we are deciding on her career. I love her very much she has a sweet personality and she's very flashy. She also loves attention. She loves to be ridden and she always wants something tricky to do. If you don't put her to work, she'll put you to work. If you put her to work, she does it and then she asks you, "what's next?" We just can't decide if she's going to event or focus on dressage."

Bridlewood Farm congratulates Dulcinea B (Donnerkeil x Gabrielle B/Guarantor) and owner May McCaleb for their Second Level Championship at Mid-Ohio Dressage Classic Show in Deleware Ohio, July 12, 2008. Dulcinea B received the outstanding scores of 70.930% at Second Level test three and a 67.027% at Second Level Test Two. This show was her Second "Debut "showing at Second Level. 	DENALI - 2004 FILLY BY DONNERKEIL (Donnerkeil x Velvet Promise xx) AHS Approved TB Mare. Owner/Breeder: Sara and Jeff Hartman, Brookville, KY. Event rider Sara comments, "Since Day 1 Denali has been and continues to be a very easy and trainable horse. She is the first baby I bred and before I decided to breed again I wanted to wait until I started her under saddle to make sure breeding is something that I could handle and would want to do again, simply said I’m looking forward to breeding my mare again after the first four years with Denali a filly out of Donnerkeil and my thoroughbred mare. Overall she has been very easy to work with and is very trainable. In her first month and a half of regular work under saddle her progress has been amazingly quick and I attribute that to her wonderful temperament and natural ability. She is brave, curious and settles in to new environments well. As a result of these attributes in her first month and a half under saddle she has schooled cross country questions a couple of times and willingly jumped over ditches, went up and down banks and is crossing water. I am very excited to be a part of her past, present and future!" Sara is rebreeding her mare to Donnerkeil for a 2008 foal.

	CONGRATULATIONS DULCINEA B! Congratulations to four year old Dulcinea B (Donnerkeil x Gabrielle B/Guarantor) and owner May McCaleb on their success at MODA. Dulcinea B won both of her Training level test 4 qualifying classess, Adult Amateur, with a 68% and an awesome 73%. The pair will be going to the regionals. Dulcinea B was also very successful at the Walnut Creek Farm Dressage show receiving a 76% in Training Level I and an 80% in Dressage Suitability. In Florida during the 2008 winter season, Dulcinea B won 3 out of 4 classes she was entered in! Dulcinea B was bred by Bridlewood Farm.
	DANNIKA BLUES - 2000 MARE (Donnerkeil x Sea Mary Run xx/Sea Chimes xx-Irish Bred TB) Owner: Joy Hudson, DVM. "We showed 2nd Level this year, with scores up to 64%. She has a great work ethic, and is very forgiving. She serves as a schoolmaster for me because she learns so quickly! I think the head shot looks like her daddy!"
	DONNERSTOLZ - 2005 COSEQUIN/USDF FINALIST! (Donnerkeil x Gabrielle B/Guarantor) Owner/Breeder Emily Fowler, Time Out Farm, Plattsburg, MO. "He has incredible movement and an awesome temperament." Update: In the 2007 MASA Fall Fest Breed Show he won his colts and geldings class with a score of 79% as well as the Hanoverian class, also with a score of 79%. He took Reserve Champion in the finals of that show. He was imprinted at birth. He has a very calm and good natured temperament and learns quickly. He will be a joy to work with over the coming years. At the 2006 American Royal, as a 2 year old, Donnerstolz placed 4th in the hunter in hand division and he placed 2nd in the sporthorse division. At the breed show held October, 2006, he placed 2nd in his 2 Year Old Class and 2nd in the Hanoverian Class with scores over 74%. He was the 4th highest scoring horse out of 22. Donnerstolz won his weanling class in the 2004 USDF Qualifier with a score of 75%and placed fourth in the finals. In 2005 he again won hs yearling class with a score of 75.5% as well as the IBC Hanoverian class. Donnerstolz then achived a 4th finish in the 2005 Colt/Gelding Cosequin/USDF Breeder's Mid-States Series Colt/Gelding Championship. His overall score was 70.050%. Donnerdieb, a Hanoverian Pre-Studbook mare was the High Scoring Hanoverian Mare out of 9 mares at the Paxton Farm Hanoverian Inspection held at Paxton Farm, Batavia, OH on August 1, 2005. She scored a 7.0 which moves her to Studbook Mare status. Congratulations to the owner and breeder of this beautiful mare who once again shows the excellence of the Donnerkeil/Thoroughbred cross.

	DONDI - HIGH POINT HANOVERIAN - KDA DRESSAGE (Donnerkeil x AHS PSB High Hill Judy xx) Owner: Theresa Swanstrom, Louisville, KY) "Our score of 65% earned us the High Point Hanoverian at the 2005 KDA Spring Dressage Classic at the Kentucky Horse Park award on Sunday for the riding portion . As a yearling in 2003 she was a winner of Get of Sire and Breeders Group at Dressage at the Kentucky Horse Park and Mid-Ohio Sport Horse Showcase I & II. Currently started under saddle: "She has been under saddle for 3 weeks (1 week of canter). She has alot of jump in her canter and of course is so wonderful to work with."
	DUGGAN (Donnerkeil x AHS PSB Tarina Royale xx) Breeder: May McCaleb, Purchased by Chalene Sprigman, Atlanta, GA. Duggan received the high score of 76% in Training Level at his first dressage show at Eden Park receiving 8’s and 9’s on his gaits. In this photo he is being ridden by trainer Linda Strine, who had just had Duggan for three months in training prior to his dressage show debut. Duggan was recently purchased by Amateur Adult rider Charlene Sprigman who plans to compete him to FEI.
	GET OF SIRE & BREEDERS GROUP CLASS WINNERS In 2003, this group of Donnerkeil offspring won the Get of Sire and Breeders Group classes at both the Mid-Ohio Dressage Association Showcase I & II, Delaware, OH, and also at Dressage at the Kentucky Horse Park Spring Breeders Classic Show, Lexington, KY. 	DRACHENHART (Donnerkeil x Applikay/Adlerfarn) Owner: Erica Powers. First Place Training Level, USDF Qualifying Class, 68.8% 2002 USDF Second Place Jr/Young Rider Training Level 65.493% (out of 118 - median 50%) as a four year old.
	DICKENS (Donnerkeil x TB mare) Dickens is a champion eventer. He won the Las Vegas Horse Trials, was 2nd at the Flagstaff Horse Trial as a 5 year old and shows great dressage ability as well. Donnerkeil is well noted for producing correct, balanced conformation with especially strong, round hindquarters.
	DISA (Donnerkeil x Elegant Odyssey xx/Gitchee Gumee xx) Winner at Milner Downs show jumping Grand Prix. Many top ten finishes on Grand Prix, including a four fault finish at Spruce Meadows in the Masters competition with owner/rider Heather Garrett. "We never go to shows and not have offers to buy her. She has so much scope and courage. We went back to the breeder and bought another Donnerkeil offspring."
	DONIGAL (Donnerkeil x TB Mare) 1999 6th Michelob Classic Mini Prix. 6th in 3 separate Monterey Young Jumper Classes for 6 year olds. 6th Modified Jr/AM Jumper Classic- Showpark. 2000 4th USET medal at Michelob Classic ridden by Ingrid Johnson. 2001 1st Gamblers Choice Spring National, 1st at Hood River in Preliminary, consistently placing in Preliminary's at Michelob Classic and Country Classic. Half brother to “Disa (Donnerkeil x TB mare) Grand Prix champion.
	DARDANOS (Donnerkeil x Kenia xx/Free Up xx) Dardanos won the USCTA Intermediate American Hanoverian Society Horse of the Year Award for 2000 with young rider Lauren Whitlock. Dardanos was also the 1999 USCTA Preliminary American Hanoverian Society Horse of the Year and Preliminary 3 Day Eventing Champion and 1997 with owner/rider Tracey Fannin. In 2004 with rider Erin Smith he was USEA Hanoverian Reserve Champion at Training Level and the pair received Honorable Mention at Novice Level.
	DASHER (Donnerkeil x Dasher/Damnatz) Regional Third level Dressage Champion & Horse of the Year. USDF Bronze Medalist. Schooling Prix St. George. Owner/Rider Cathy Donnelly. "Dasher is a very great young rider horse. He has been very easy to train and is always ready to go to work." Cathy earned her USDF Bronze Medal as a 16-year-old on Dasher.
	DONYA (Donnerkeil x AHS PSB Hope She's Ahead xx/George Navanod xx) Breeder: Bridlewood Farm Sold to Terri and Eleanor Ralenkotter, Union, KY. "Donya has always had a maturity beyond her age. I was especially interested in her as a driving prospect and she has taken to it with enthusiam. She was easily broke to drive and ride. She is a mare with a big personality and has common sense which comes from her unflappable sire. We appreciate working with a horse of this temperament and character."
	DEELITE (Donnerkeil x TB Mare) Owner: Peggy Forman, Leviston, Idaho. "All business. Very Consistent. I wish I had 10 more just like her. Goes right to work and does her job."
	DEJA VU (Donnerkeil x Snow Sheen ox - Arabian Mare) Successful Preliminary Level 3-day event competitor with young rider Shawna Thomas. "He is a good mover who always places in Dressage. We bred our mare to Donnerkeil for movement, substance and temperament. We bred another mare to Donnerkeil, we were so pleased with Deja Vu."
	DARKUNTAHL (Donnerkeil x AHS PSB Authenticyty ox) Breeder: Carla Berg, Cincinnati, OH Owner: LE and Lynnette Wadsworth Trainer: Greta Rigley, Micanopy, FL. He was sold as a three year old and is currently in training with well known dressage trainer Greta Rigley in Florida. In 2003 as a five year old, Darkuntahl won the training level open division with rider Greta Rigley with a score of 71% and was reserve champion in the training level amateur division with Lynnette. Donnerkeil has proven himself to be a superior selection for crossing with Arabian mares. He is highly regarded as a prepotent sire. His desireable traits are always evident as shown here. He consistently produces uphill, athletic offspring with improved substance, elasticity and impulsion.

	DANIKA AND HER FABULEUX GRANDSON! (Donnerkeil x ) Owner: Debra Wagner, Coyote Crossing Ranch, Sisters, OR "Three generations of Donnerkeil. We took these photos at the Hanoverian inspection August 5th at my farm. From right to left is: Danika, with Deb Wagner, Danika's daughter Natasha with Leslie Nona, and Natasha's son Five Star, with Stephanie Altig. Look at those faces! What lovely horses. Five Star is the Fabuleux baby." Danika was an overall 8 mare at her inspection.
	A PROVEN SELECTION FOR THOROUGHBRED MARES Donnerkeil's foals out of TB mares, such as this foal, show light, forward and elastic movement with lots of suspension. Many of have been champions at their inspections. The Donnerkiel/TB cross has produced dozens of outstanding sport horse champions as illustrated on this page.
